ACC's representative figures use the average home value across Pflugerville ISD, not a city market-value estimate. Property values and future tax rates can change. Homeowners age 65 or older and qualifying homeowners with disabilities also receive an ACC tax ceiling after the first year, subject to the applicable rules.

The value of membership
Current student fee relief is one part of the value being measured, not the whole of district membership. Membership would also bring PfISD pathways, workforce training, employer support, public governance, and a place for Northeast Travis County in ACC's long-term planning and investment.
At current rates, Pflugerville ISD residents would pay $85 instead of $286 per credit hour, a difference of $201 for every credit.
Eligible recent graduates currently receive free tuition but still pay the $201-per-credit out-of-district fee. Membership would remove it under the pilot's current rules.
ACC's plan begins at PfISD's voter-approved CTE Center with three Career Academies and room for adult and workforce training.
Businesses and organizations could work with ACC on customized training, technical skills, and stronger talent pipelines.
Residents could vote for all nine trustees, run for the Board, and take part in decisions about the budget, tax rate, programs, facilities, and investment.
