Higher education for everyone

Opportunity at Every Stage of Life

Higher education is not one path or one moment after high school. ACC serves people at different starting points and at different moments in life.

Starting out

Earn college credit, complete a certificate or associate degree, prepare for a career, or begin the path to a university.

Building a career

Build hands-on skills in healthcare, advanced manufacturing, skilled trades, technology, and other high-demand fields.

Starting something new

Retrain, earn a new credential, or prepare for a different career without putting the rest of life on hold.

Learning for life

Return for continuing education, professional development, adult education, or new skills as work and technology change.

ACC in Pflugerville

What Pflugerville Gets

ACC's local plan would begin at Pflugerville ISD's new Career and Technical Education Center with Career Academies in Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, and Skilled Trades.

The CTE Center would connect high school courses and dual credit with college credentials and careers. When PfISD is not using the building, ACC could also offer adult education and workforce training there.

District membership would give residents, workers, and employers an ACC partner that can plan and invest with Pflugerville as our needs change.

Forever Opportunity for Pflugerville means a lasting in-district tuition rate, local education and workforce partnerships, a place in ACC governance, and the opportunity for future investment as Pflugerville grows.

Why now

Pflugerville Is in a Different Position Today

Pflugerville has grown past 80,000 residents. PfISD's voter-approved CTE Center now exists. ACC's plan identifies three Career Academies there. And since Lockhart joined the district in 2024, ACC has added local classes and a skilled-trades center there. Pflugerville voters can now consider a more specific local plan for a larger community.
