Submit a new registration or an address change by this date so it is effective for the November election. Act early if you need to mail a form.

Vote at any early-voting location in the county where you are registered. Locations and hours will be posted by each county.

Mail-ballot application deadline
If you are eligible to vote by mail, your county's early voting clerk must receive your application by this date. A postmark is not enough.

Use the Texas voter portal to confirm that your registration is active and your address is current.
Texas provides an online form you can fill out, but completing it online does not finish your registration. You must print, sign, and deliver or mail the application to your county voter registrar.

Three Ways to Cast Your Ballot
Vote early in person
From October 19 through October 30, you may vote at any early-voting location in your county of registration. Hours can vary by day and location.
Vote on Election Day
Polls are open November 3 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Confirm your Election Day location with your county before you go.
Vote by mail if eligible
Texas limits voting by mail to voters who meet an eligibility reason. Apply early and follow the official instructions carefully, including the identification-number requirements.
