More affordable education
Lower Tuition Opens More Doors
At current rates, district membership would lower tuition for every Pflugerville ISD resident from $286 to $85 per credit hour. That difference can make a class, certificate, or degree more realistic for more families.
Degrees, transfer, and applied bachelor's pathways
At current rates, the cost would fall from $286 to $85 per credit hour, a $12,060 difference across 60 credits. ACC also offers university-transfer programs and applied bachelor's degrees in nursing, cybersecurity, software development, and advanced manufacturing.
High school and recent-graduate pathways
ACC's current Free Tuition pilot covers tuition and general fees, but Pflugerville students still pay the $201-per-credit out-of-district fee. Membership would remove it. Over 30 credits, that is a $6,030 difference.
Career change and lifelong learning
Working adults, parents, career changers, veterans, and lifelong learners could use ACC for workforce training, career advancement, adult education, continuing education, or a new start.

Pflugerville ISD prepares students for enrollment, employment, or enlistment. More than 8,000 students take part in Career and Technical Education, with more than 20 career pathways and existing ACC partnerships in dual credit and Early College High School.
District membership would deepen that work through Career Academies in Health Sciences, Advanced Manufacturing, and Skilled Trades at PfISD's new Career and Technical Education facility.
The official service plan also commits ACC to working with PfISD leadership on expanded professional growth and credentialing opportunities for educators.
